Richard Littman of "Signs4U" in Plymouth had a problem on his mind. He had very limited space, but needed to cut a large quantity of sheet to fulfil a rush order, and his guillotine was proving restrictive as it wouldn't cut along an 8' sheet, nor cope with thicker or harder materials. Then he saw the Zapkut at the Sign Show at the NEC and had a "eureka" moment when he realised that this unique folding vertical panel saw unit was the answer he needed.

As a result of the show, the company have had to gear up for production, so Richard persuaded them to sell him the show model. As one of Zapkut's associates was passing nearby on a business visit to Cornwall, he delivered the unit direct to Richard's workshop in the Mill Bay area of Plymouth.
